N-Power Build has begun training in virtually all the 36 states including FCT in Nigeria. The training commenced on March 1st, 2018, to empower non-graduates in the ongoing Social Investment Programme of N-power powered by the Federal Government. As stated before, the FG will be paying tuition for the trainees to the training centres. Research shows that  some participating State owned centres of the underlisted States in the photo are yet to submit their institutional bank accounts. Distribution of NpowerNG tablet device for 2016 volunteers of the programme has started. N-power said on its social media channels on Monday, January 29, 2018. It says: " The distribution of the 2nd batch of N-Power devices has commenced. It commenced in Lagos and will spread out to other states shortly. Please be patient, everyone will get their device. This applies ONLY to 2016 beneficiaries in the 2nd batch."

Just in: President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Kano for a 2-day visit. He was received on arrival by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje , top government functionaries, and N-power volunteers.

NpowerNG volunteers in Kano State will today welcome the Commander in Chief of Nigeria's Armed Forces President Muhammadu Buhari to the state. Buhari's  two days Official visit to Kano will cover some projects executed by the state government. Npower volunteers are showing their  our support and solidarity to his able leadership. If you're sent a text message earlier this that you've been pre-selected it's time to join the next batch whose physical verification begins December 4 through 14. If you were sent an SMS saying you are on the 2016 waiting list please join the Physical Verification Exercise between December 4th -14th. Please report at accredited verification centre in your local government of residence.

N-power has warned that any existing beneficiaries who refuse to report to their place of work could be dismissed from the scheme. It issued the strong warning on its social media platforms. The communique reads: Dear Existing Beneficiaries, It has come to our attention that existing beneficiaries are refusing to show up at work. Please understand that if anyone is caught, they will be instantly dismissed from # NPowerNG , there are thousands ready to take your place and do the work. Existing FCT/Abuja beneficiaries, reports from our monitors reveal that some of you are joking around and refusing to show up for work. Adjust or face immediate dismissal from the programme.

N-power volunteers in Ebonyi State on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari to the state. President Buhari is on an official visit, the first such trip since he took office in 2015. The volunteers were seen carrying placard with the inscription, "Welcome to the Salt of the Nation, Mr President " and others showing their joy to welcome Buhari. #NpowerNGBacklogPayments N-power has once again called on existing beneficiaries to be patient on the Payment of backlogs. It was reacting to questions from volunteers, who have never received any Payment since December, 2016 till date. The reason for unpaid volunteers include: umatched name, unmatched Account number, wrong names and others . Since Payment began last year NpowerNG has been trying to sort out issues of unpaid stipends. A lot of those issues are been sorted out on monthly basis and affected volunteers are paid in batches. For those who have payment problem, they're advised to send complaint to support@ npvn.desk - mail.com In the meantime, N-power has said that backlog payments are done in batches. This means your Payment depends on when your complaint gets to N-power Support Unit; and equally based on first come, first serve. #NpowerngSituationRoom  N-power has shortlisted 35 existing volunteers for the second batch of ExperienceNpowerNG, in which beneficiaries will given privilege to gain access to the Situation Room of the job initiative programme in Abuja on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.
