The first phase of N-Power took 200,000 applicants in 2016, making the programme the first of its kind in the history of youth employment in Nigeria and Africa.
It'd be recalled that Labour and Employment Minister Dr. Chris Ngige on May 19 said that the npower portal would reopen today May 29, celebrated as Democracy Day.
As early as May 29, prospective applicants "besieged" the portal at npower.gov.ng to submit applications, unfortunately several trials on the portal ,which is the official job application dedicated for Nigerians to apply, were unsuccessful.
At the time of putting this together, the portal is ranked 18, 928 among millions of domains in Nigeria, that's according to Alexa rank.
June 13,2017 will be on Tuesday.

Please for someone who applied last year when he was not above 35yrs but unfortunately was not in the list of first batch.and this year he is now 36yrs just to hear information that those that applied last year and are waiting for the second batch should reapply. This is demoralising.what is the judgement on this as they state that 35 years is the limit. Just because of one year. The period he spent waiting for the 2nd batch.please reply me sir.
ReplyDeleteHello, the fact that the Acting President was silent on second batch doesn't mean second batch won't be released.
DeleteBut in one of our articles, we analyse some of the reasons while second batch might not be forthcoming.
However, Mr. Afolabi, presidential aid on Job creation disclosed during the week that names of those who applied for N-Teach and N-Tech will be published soon, he didn't mention second batch list. He did talk about second phase, though.
