Some beneficiaries of the job initiative programme of Nigerian government have been given their N-powerNG tablet device in what could be described as the high point of their visit to the N-power Situation Room, Abuja.

It’s a brainchild of the Presidential Aid on Job Creation Mr. Afolabi Imoukhuede to give N-power volunteers the privilege to see for themselves the every minute activities of the Technical Team of the programme at the Situation Room.
Last week N-powerNG released a video, where Tablet Application experts are seen explaining the process involved in the uploading and configuration of the almost 200,000 tablets devices for the first batch of the programme.
When the criteria to take part in the ExperienceNpowerNG were released, N-power never mentioned that there’s going to be any surprise package for the visitors.
We can’t authoritatively confirm why others couldn’t get their devices, but it’s believed that those who got were among those in the first batch of device selection.
Afolabi had, in his last Facbook Live Chat, said that preparations were ongoing to make sure that N-power 2016 volunteers get their tablets before the end of August.
And we did see in the video the shipment of the already configured tablets to the various collection centres across the country.
Expectations have risen over when the distribution would begin, however, Mr. Afolabi had cautioned volunteers not to fall for fake news.
N-power is the only authoritative body that can say when and where the distribution would take place.
